A close-up of the newly build Axel Towers Complex on Vesterbrogade in Copenhagen. The architects Lundgaard & Tranberg, have build these the visionary buildings.
Axel Towers is a composition of five freestanding, round buildings. In the height, they are connected by varying bands of walkways. The mezzanine floors in the towers’ center provide covered living space. The two lower floors are fitted for quality retail and restoration environment, ti ensure life and activity on the square. There will be a Sky Bar on 9-10 floor with public access.. A garden will be established about midway up in the big tower complex.
The golden plate that covers the facade is a special alloy of copper and zinc, and in time it will acquire a patina and become more and more bronze colored with greenish hues.
