Dry Dock Fisher: Fisherboat on the Dry. Brydegård, Funen, April 2015 Nikon D800, Nikkor 24mm f/2.8 AI-S

Dry Dock Fisher

This old, yellow dinghy got pulled onto dry Land for maintenance while i was passing through on my way to the Helnæs Peninsula. To me, this landscape, this environment, represents the typical danish in-land coastline. My “Dry Dock Fisher”.

This is another image i shot using an Nikon Nikkor 24mm f/2.8 AI-S i got from my father, and back then i just had it reviewed and fixed. It is a rather older model in that family, Nikon had them build between 1977 and the late 80’s. Given this lens has to be operated fully manually, it is still a stunningly precise and fun-to-work-with lens.
