Grimselwelt

Another beautiful day for us in the Berner Oberland. We went into the Grimsel Region , the “Grimselwelt” – “wo die Energien fliessen”:  “Where the energies flow”.The Region is in it’s entirety nothing else than one massive Power Station: A collection of complementary dams and dam lakes. Interested readers can get an idea of the very wide range of activities this area offers: http://www.grimselwelt.ch/

Another very entertaining experience was the as- and descent with the Gelmerbahn: Switzerland and Europe’s steepest funicular. Maximum incline: 106%. We encouraged each other by saying that- if this was our last moment in our lifes – we at least had a very, very beautiful sight. One has to overcome his fears. Nothing more – nothing less.
