A few images of a late night excursion along the channel all the way to the Harbor basins. Another way of documenting the substantial changes this area undergoes, during a short period of time. A big plus by doing this in low light conditions is that all buildings and objects draw perfect reflections in the water – due to very calm weather conditions. Night Visions.

Odense Harbour was built at the beginning of the 19th century and a lot has happened since then. For 150 years it served as a busy industrial harbour, but now it is being transformed into a new and exciting cultural mecca. The area has obvious references to the past in the shape of the many preserved and “recycled” buildings. Today the area offers a lot of activities for locals as well as visitors.
Over the last couple of years several sports facilities have been built at the harbour. On “City Island” you can play beach volley or pétanque, try outdoor crossfit, parkour, miniature golf and play indoor soccer at the “Football Factory” which is right next to our harbour beach where you can enjoy a cool drink among the palm trees. Quite recently it became possible to go for a swim in the new harbour bath. The harbour bath has all the modern amenities like changing rooms, sauna etc.
