Swan Lake

Swan Lake: A single swan swimming in a little pond in the middle of the Millennium Forest in Odense. May, 2015

“Tusindårsskoven” (“The Thousand Year Forest”) is located in southwestern Odense on the Island Funen in Denmark. The forest was founded in 1988. It was the year the city of Odense celebrated its 1’000th anniversary. The area appears as a mixture of open plains and with many different types of wood in the area, consisting mainly of oak, beech, miracle, slow and beat. The open plains or pastures are surrounded by a newer edge and forest plantation. In addition, there is an artificially created hill with grass and bushes.
