Bernese Inn, Ballenberg, Switzerland

This is a collection of images from the Ballenberg Open-Air Museum near the City of Brienz in Switzerland. Under our stay we visited this impressive collection of old, rural buildings, ancient animal races, local crafts, crops and gardens. The museum is witness of the agricultural past of this country, and at the same time it builds a bridge between ancient and actual traditions. Everything is meaningfully placed according to the different provinces in Switzerland to ease the distinction of building style, lifestock race, farming and working tools, crops and clothing and it is easy to distinct those from each other.

It is an absolut must to visit Ballenberg!
